Job Title: COTA - Travel Contract (#440820)
We're hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Albuquerque, NM. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills needed for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active New Mexico COTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience providing ADL retraining, therapeutic activities, and adaptive equipment recommendations preferred.
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and document per facility and state regulations.
Assignment Details
- Facility type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Shift: Days.
- Shift hours: 0800-1630.
- Work days: Monday through Friday.
- Meal break: 30 minutes.
- Contract length: 14 weeks.
- Guaranteed hours: 35 hours per week.
