We are hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Santa Rosa, CA. Minimum Qualifications
- Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
- Active California COTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing or post-acute care preferred.
- Ability to follow therapist treatment plans and document patient progress in facility electronic medical records.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior travel COTA experience preferred.
- Experience with ADL retraining, transfers, and durable medical equipment assessment preferred.
- Familiarity with care coordination in multidisciplinary teams preferred.
Assignment Details
- Shift type: Flex shifts; schedule varies.
- Guaranteed 30 hours to start.
- Candidate may be required to float to other nearby facilities as needed.
