What We’re Looking For

• Master’s degree in social work (MSW) preferred with a School Social Worker focus.
• Educator's License required.
• Current LCSW licensure in good standing or ability to obtain licensure in Illinois.
• Experience providing individual and group counseling in school or youth settings preferred.
• Experience with student assessments, behavior intervention planning, and crisis response preferred.
• Familiarity with school-based documentation, IEP/504 processes, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams preferred.

• Support students’ academic success by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs through counseling, assessments, and individualized intervention plans.
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis response, and ongoing support for students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community agencies to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
• Advocate for students and connect families with appropriate resources while maintaining accurate, confidential records of services and progress.
