What We’re Looking For


  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) preferable with a School Social Worker focus.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required to be considered.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential required.
  • Experience providing individual and group counseling in a school setting preferred.
  • Experience with crisis intervention, IEP/504 team collaboration, and maintaining confidential student records preferred.


What You'll Do


  • Support students’ academic success by addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs through counseling, assessments, and individualized intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, crisis response, and ongoing support for students facing emotional, behavioral, or social challenges.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and community agencies to create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
  • Advocate for students and connect families with appropriate resources while maintaining accurate, confidential records of services and progress.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings such as IEP and 504 planning sessions.


Minimum Requirements


  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
  • Professional Educator License (PEL) required.
  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a school setting preferred.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and collaboration on IEP/504 teams preferred.

  • Orientation date provided prior to start. First and last day of assignment fall within the academic year schedule.
