Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Kansas Occupational Therapy License required to start the position.
  • Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers. Certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment if not current at hire.
  • Valid Kansas Driver’s License documented.
  • One year of pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred, specifically working with patients ages 0–3 in infant/child development or similar programs.
  • CPR and BLS listed as required certifications.

Position Summary

Provide occupational therapy services for patients primarily ages 0–3 years in the Infant Child Development (ICD) program who demonstrate delays or deficits in activities of daily living, play, neuromuscular function, sensory integration, cognition, or psychosocial abilities. Plan, organize, and implement comprehensive assessment, treatment planning, service delivery, documentation, family education, consultation, and discharge/transition planning. Work full time on the day shift, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours. Weekend requirements will be discussed at interview. This is a direct hire opportunity in a hospital setting located in Salina, KS.

  • Position focuses on medical-surgical and pediatric populations within the ICD program.
