Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapy License is required to start the position
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) preferred
- Hand therapy experience preferred. Employer will train OTs with limited hand experience
- Demonstrated splinting skills preferred
- BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC
Practice & Setting
- Privately owned, surgeon-led hand and orthopedic practice
- All patients are internal referrals from surgeons
- Collaborative, team-based environment working closely with surgeons
- Outpatient clinic setting with six treatment tables
- Electronic Medical Record: EPIC
Caseload & Schedule
- Typical caseload: one patient per hour, approximately 12 patients per day
- No routine double booking; rare exceptions only
- Flexible Monday–Friday schedules. Common options include four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts
