Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Master’s or Doctoral degree acceptable.
- Active Michigan Occupational Therapist license required to start the position.
- NBCOT certification required.
- OTR credential required.
- BLS - Basic Life Support required within 1 month of hire or transfer. [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
- More than 1 year of clinical experience preferred. New graduates will be considered.
- Experience in outpatient and acute care settings preferred. Ability to treat acute and outpatient patient populations.
- Ability to perform documentation for billing and regulatory compliance and competence with Microsoft Windows systems.
- Ability to work the specified Days shift schedule: Sunday 8:00-12:00 plus Monday–Thursday 8:00–17:30, or Sunday 8:00-12:00 plus Tuesday–Friday 8:00–17:30 and Saturday 8:00-12:00. Weekend availability required.
- Willingness and ability to use personal protective equipment and work in environments with potential exposure to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens.
- Ability to supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants, aides, and students per affiliate and regulatory standards.
