Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Full Time (#463074)

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of an Occupational Therapist education program accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA), or successor organizations of ACOTE.
  • Eligible to take, or has successfully completed, the entry-level certification examination for Occupational Therapists developed and administered by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy, Inc. (NBCOT) is highly preferred.
  • Licensed or otherwise regulated, if applicable, as an Occupational Therapist by the state of Iowa prior to or at start of practice.
  • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state and organizational requirements.
  • Maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with re-certification.
  • Mandatory Reporter: Child and Dependent Adult Abuse training or compliance as required.
  • Minimum one year of experience caring for a similar patient population in home health or comparable setting.
  • Experience performing home visits, conducting functional assessments, developing and administering individualized occupational therapy treatment plans, and recommending environmental modifications.
