Job Title: Physical Therapist - Travel Contract (#442075)

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
  • Active California Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
  • No new graduates. Minimum recent clinical experience required; candidate must demonstrate competency in outpatient orthopedic evaluation and treatment.
  • Experience evaluating patients, developing and modifying treatment plans, and documenting per clinic and payer requirements, including letters of medical necessity and functional quality indicators.
  • Experience with outpatient clinic documentation systems and charge entry preferred.
  • Ability to supervise and delegate to ancillary therapy staff and provide student supervision as needed.
  • Maintain compliance with state practice act, professional licensure in good standing, and required continuing education.

  • Shift Pattern: 5x8 schedule.
  • Assignment Duration: 13 weeks.
  • Full-time, 40 hours per week.
  • Must be able to work with established physician orders and insurance authorizations.
