Job Title: Physical Therapist - Travel Contract (#447513)
Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide outpatient physical therapy services in San Francisco, CA. Evaluate patients, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, document care thoroughly, and collaborate with the care team to support patient progress toward functional goals. Supervise and delegate discipline-specific therapy services as appropriate. Participate in student education and performance improvement activities. Maintain professional licensure and comply with state practice act and organizational policies. No new graduates.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
- Active California PT license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Minimum experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred; experience with functional, community-focused treatment plans required.
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation, goal writing, letters of medical necessity, and charge entry.
- Ability to participate in student supervision and provide professional mentorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel or contract experience in outpatient clinics.
- Additional certifications or continuing education relevant to outpatient orthopedics or functional rehabilitation.
Assignment Details
- Schedule: 5x8.
- 40 hours per week.
- Must adhere to clinic guidelines for appearance, attendance, and punctuality.
- May be required to float to other facilities as needed.
