Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed or license-eligible as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida.
• New graduates are welcome; clinical experience in outpatient settings is preferred.
• Ability to provide physical therapy treatment per established plans and to document treatment in accordance with policy.
• Ability to consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and changes in condition.
• BLS certification may be required from AHA or ARC.
• Willingness to participate in internal professional development programs and CEU activities.

What You'll Do

• Provide physical therapy treatment to patients in accordance with established treatment plans as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely through treatment within their capabilities.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding patient progress and condition changes.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interaction in accordance with clinic policies.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow clinical skills and clinic culture.
