Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant - Travel Contract (#440738)

Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program.
  • Active California Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Experience working in inpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
  • Ability to work with adult and geriatric populations, including moderate to high acuity patients, preferred.
  • Ability to follow plan of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Client requires one weekend on-call rotation per month.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Hospital (inpatient physical therapy).
  • Shift: Days.
  • Shift hours: 07:30–16:00. Possible alternate start times may include 07:00–15:30 or 08:00–16:30.
  • Schedule: 40 hours per week.
  • Call/rotations: One weekend per month required.
